We loved Barbour's collaboration last year with Liberty of London, which produced the sold-out-everywhere Rose Utility Jacket (left). We love the subtle floral print peeking out of the jacket...a bit more our speed than the "look at me" Liberty Print Shirt at the right!
Now we're excited to hear from Vogue UK that Barbour is teaming up with British handbag and accessories designer Anya Hindmarch to produce a collection this Fall.
You probably know Anya as the genious behind last year's "I'm Not a Plastic Bag" phenomenon. Which, given the complete hassle of the newly-imposed DC bag tax, I may have to revisit...
We've been big fans of her ladylike, luxurious bags for quite some time now.
Her collection with Barbour will consist of four pieces, with prices starting at 249 pounds (about $400), so we'd better start saving our pennies early! No pictures available yet, but we'll keep you posted.
