For a little bit of Eastern flavour pop into pure solid 13, a fun, bright shop on Kloof Street. You'll find interesting clothing and t-shirts, cute toys and all sorts of small and unusual bits and pieces! Love their beautiful clothes hangers and the paint drip effect on the walls is really striking. A great place to find a unique gift!
Right next door to pure solid 13 is Oishii which is a quirky little cafe. It's always nice to find a spot with a bit of character and something different. What drew me in was their amazing lighting, absolutely love the yellow wire lights with the crochet detail! You can pop in for a light meal, sandwich or some noodles, their speciality. I still need to go back and try their noodles, all I had time for was a coffee, next time!
