CRISIS: A PLEA FOR YOUR HELP!

Some of you may have heard of the recent Cholera outbreak in Haiti, as of today (a few minutes ago, to be precise) according to the BBC, death tolls have hit 300. THREE HUNDRED PEOPLE HAVE DIED. Cholera is easily exacerbated in a nation like Haiti where water resources are not regulated as tightly as they are in more developed nations.

To help fight the spread of this disease (By the way, a Cholera infection is a miserable way to die--essentially death by dehydration, which of course includes dysentery), DONATE NOW to a RELIABLE, truly NON-profit organization, Partners in Health. CLICK HERE TO HELP!!!!

PIH was founded notably by Dr. Paul Farmer, Dr. Jim Yong Kim and Ophelia Dahl (you know, author Roald Dahl's daughter) in 1987 and their efforts have been TIRELESS in helping the nation. They've been in Haiti since the'80s and have worked for NO INCOME-- purely for the sake of helping this desolate nation.
