Springtime is just around the corner! It was such a delight to set vases of daffodils around my house this weekend!
Before I forget, let me first thank my sweet husband who went out of his way to help me score this faux bamboo table from Craigslist over the weekend! $20 cash and a coat of paint is all it took!
Nothing makes me happier than seeing those first few daffodils start to pop up around the yard. Daffodils are one of my favorite flowers. Their shape is so elegant, their colors so vibrant, and their arrival is a reminder that warmer days are coming. My great grandmother, Mommy Stowe, had beautiful "scrambled egg" daffodils that lined both sides of her veerrrrry long driveway.

When I was a little girl, a patch of daffodils was always the first place to look for Easter eggs. Now I love to cut them and place them around my home, to add a splash of color and breath of fresh air to a room. There are a multitude of ways to arrange daffodils, from formal to casual, and they are always elegant.
