Yesterday at lunch I thought I'd run through ikea, since I was in the area. I didn't have any particular agenda, which is RARE for me when it comes to going to ikea.
In the mirror section, there was a huge box of these Levanger mirrors on clearance, marked down from $14.99 to $3.99. I didn't know ikea ever put non-damaged goods on sale!
For the grand total of $35 and change, I grabbed a stack of 9 of them to do a grouping on the wall in my den. I had been looking, albeit not too seriously, for a big mirror for a wall there, but I thought these could have the same effect by grouping them.
I arranged them many different ways, but ultimately I think evenly spaced rows hung vertically worked out best. We have paneling on the walls, so it was a bit of a challenge to hang them (but hey, what's an ikea purchase without an accompanying challenge, right?).
I'm happy with the result!
They reflect the light off the window, which I need in this room that has a tendency to be dark (as you can tell from the photos).
Go grab them up! They aren't on the website anymore, but it's the small size. I think they are each approximately 17 inches tall by 9 inches wide.
