So it's finally Friday, somehow it felt like this day would never come this week! But it's here and I just found out that I won a giveaway from the lovely blog, Heartstop, yay, what a great start to the weekend! Have you seen the latest Anthropologie catalogue? It's full of lovely carefree pics that leave you with that happy, relaxed holiday feeling. Perfect for the weekend I thought. I've also added three cool things I spotted this week...
1. Collect Jewellery has a special on their pretty silk thread necklaces. Usually they are R180 each, for June they are selling at R150 each or
2 for R290
or 3 for R390, even better! How cute is the little rabbit?
2. Try your hand at making some pretty painted candle holders like the Once Wed team did. Aren't they beautiful? Somehow I'm not sure mine will be as successful!
3. I spotted this fun Balloon Bench sculpture by Japanese designer Satoshi Itasaka and instantly fell for it's quirky charm. The sculpture appears to be suspended in mid air, held up by balloons but it is actually held up from the ceiling by 4 anchors concealed by the shapes of the balloon bundles. It's currently at a gallery in Tokyo and is available for sale! Imagine this piece in your home, wouldn't your kids just love you forever?! You can read more about it over on yatzer.
