As today's a big day here in SA, I thought we'd celebrate with a fantastic giveaway from Genevieve Motley, a talented jewellery designer from Durban!

Describe your personal style...
I guess to some extent it could be described as boho, I'd do anything for a gorgeous dress and a pair of pretty flat strappy sandals and am a true believer that a bit of eyeliner, dangly earrings and a bangle can transform any outfit!
 
City or country girl?
country

Do you make your jewellery fulltime or is it a hobby?
Fulltime, its my greatest passion and something i think i will continue to do for the rest of my life!

Where do you find your inspiration?
I've always been so fascinated by nature and that's where my greatest inspiration lies. My jewellery is influenced by this not only in design but also by the materials I use. Other then that
it's the people that I share my life with, I often design a piece with a specific person in mind.

Any blogs or websites that you find particularly inspiring?
The gorgeous Australian blog Daydream Lily,  Janine's blog, Jardino,  for her beautiful photography and her eye for detail, Baglett  for a good dose of giggles and yours, Lana, for your continuous visual eye candy!

Your favourite season?
Spring :-) Not that Durban has much of a spring but Its that lovely balance of sunshine without being too hot and all the greenery.

Favourite thing to do on a weekend?
Lie on the beach with my love, reading a good book.

Latest music you are listening to?
Arcade Fire and the latest album from Arctic Monkeys is fantastic! Music is one of my greatest loves and is always playing in our home. At the moment when I'm busy working I also like the occasional Putumayo cd such as French Cafe, there's just something about French music that makes me happy.

What makes you smile?
My fiance and the antics of our three cats in the morning.

One thing you are currently wishing for...
For the exhibitions I'm doing this year (House and Garden, Sarcda) to run smoothly and be successful.
