Fat Sheep giveaway!

Welcome back from the weekend, lovelies! I hope you had a fantastic time, did you enjoy the soccer? I so enjoyed it and am rather sad it's all over now. It's been a bit of a holiday here in SA for the last month and now it's back to work and reality for us!

So to start the week off on a happy note, we have a lovely new giveaway! Two readers will each win a beautiful wooden heart necklace from Fat Sheep! Aren't they sweet?

Fat Sheep is a small online shop run by the lovely Bieb in Amsterdam. I love that Bieb stocks some South African products in her shop and she also has a great organic and ethical approach.

Are you more of a city or country girl?

Cityyyyyy, still so happy to live here in Amsterdam

How did you start your online shop?

For some years I was selling Marzipan jewellery to stores here in Holland, after a while I saw so many beaut products, so I thought I am going to put them together in a webshop.

How did you come up with your shop name?

the wool stuff made me do it...; )

How do decide what items to stock?

It 's just having a go with products I really like, always looking out for original things and I like honest products. Honest as in how it's made, what it's made of, who benefits from it etc etc. I am now working with a company in Swaziland, they are going to make some products for me and the company provides work for less fortunate woman. I really hope this works out. That sort of thing really inspires me.

What is your favourite thing to do on a weekend?

To have a nice relaxing moment for a delicious coffee somewhere

What makes you happy?

The coffee again, drink and dinner with friends, the beach, my dog, biking in Amsterdam, sun, flowers, (and yes, sunflowers), creative people doing their thing, outdoor running, new shopping items, watching people etc etc...

What is your dream holiday destination?

Some wellness resort in Asia with massages, healthy food, flowers and a zen surrounding would sound like music to my ears right now...

Can you tell us some favourite blogs or online shops/websites where you find inspiration?

Yours! and I like coelho culture , blushing ambition, A Cup of Jo, H & M, charlie + mary, Restored and join the pipe.org- I love the fact it benefits in 2 major ways. First, with the money raised from selling these beautiful durable plastic bottles they install pumps, wells and other water projects in Africa and Asia. Second, it saves the planet from drowning into an ocean of plastic water bottles.

And lastly where do you see your shop in 5 years time?

Grown bigger, but remaining personal, selling products of my own fatsheep brand with the emphasis on be-auty, using it as a verb. Being beautiful for the earth, people and making beautiful things. At least try to... ; )
