Welcome to another new week and I hope you're feeling energised after your weekend! I had a fab weekend out in the country and took loads of photos to share with you. First up is the Old Mac Daddy trailer park which is now up and running in Elgin. I previously shared some photos of the trailers while they were still in the process of being decorated here.
There are ten airstream trailers that have all been individually decorated by Cape Town designers in the most amazing way, ranging from absolutely eccentric to oh so beautiful. Each trailer has it's own attached bathroom and lounge with deck to add a bit more space and luxury.

The main barn includes a restaurant and bar and looks out over the valley. This space as well as all the trailer lounges are decorated in a beautiful but very minimalist style, a bit of "decor detox" to tone down all the eclectic interiors of the trailers. Think pale woods, simple lines and purely functional design. Guests can enjoy swimming in the pool, lounging out at the dam, fishing, cycling and exploring the surrounding area.
And here's a taste of some of the creative interiors of the trailers, there's a design to suit each guest, from a submarine or boxing ring for the boys, an old South African style suite for all the retro SA lovers, a beautiful black and white "Life before colour" suite for the all the romantics and more. This is definitely a getaway with a difference.
