Last week's sneak peak of the
Louis Vuitton Women's Fall Winter 2009-2010 was my undoing. I had to go to New York City and see for myself the collection. Of course, a little day at the museum and a matinee was always a welcome insertion in the agenda. I hope you all enjoy the pics as much I enjoy taking them. Let's start off first at the
Frick Collection. Located on 1 East 70th Street, this residence turned museum was high on Jeff's itinerary, so last Sunday, we decided to digest our heavy New York brunch with art. Unfortunately, they don't allow photos to be taken inside the museum so a retaining wall and view of the garden is as far as I can take you.

A couple of hours in the museum was enough to satiate our cultural longings. But honestly, I couldn't wait to get to 5th Ave. before our matinee started. As always, I was met with cordiality and warmth by the wonderful boys of the Maison, P & S. We chit chatted for a bit but Jeff was waiting impatiently outside in the muggy heat, so I breezed through the four floors making a mental note to come back the next day.

On our way to the theatre, this loomed at the corner of 6th and 55th so it was a no brainer that I had to stop and take a photo. Can you see me in the picture? I am surrounded by
LVoe!
Also, I spotted two LV's on the same sidewalk. One is a wonderful
Monogram Tissé Sac Rayures but the other, was a dreadful cop-out of a Speedy. An un-authorize action shot:
"Wicked" was our choice for this visit and even though we saw it in Baltimore a couple of years ago, the Broadway experience still held its magical sway.

Since it was a Sunday, I felt guilty that I was not able to attend Mass. Prayerfully I stepped into
Saint Patrick's Cathedral to make amends. The beautiful painting of Our Lady of Guadalupe seemed to accept my humble visit-offering.
An early dinner at
Le Relais de Venice, a Parisian restaurant that we dined at last year when we were there, was Jeff's last surprise to our wonderful Sunday. The New York franchise had just opened in the past few months.
