Watch out Target...Ebay has just launched its first capsule collection with none other than Narciso Rodriguez. The eight piece limited edition collection ranges in price from $65 to $350. Definitely more expensive than Target's "Go International" line, which in the past has featured designers such as Rodarte, Alice Temperley, Luella, and Anna Sui, but tends to stick to the $19-$60 range.
If you need a Narciso refresher, you might remember this little number that had became hotly debated in 2008...

The good news- Narciso's collection for Ebay looks to be targeted (ha) at a more sophisticated consumer than Target's "Go International" line; the clothes look well made and befitting of their larger pricetag. These are things you'll actually wear, not impulse purchases you make when you swear you're only going into Target to buy cat litter. And as evidenced by the pleothara of Rodarte items on the sale rack at Target lately, I'm not quite sure their latest Go International collection hit the mark with its intended audience.
The bad news- since you have to buy it on Ebay, you can't try it on beforehand and examine the workmanship and materials. And dare I say it, but this stuff looks rather matronly to me. Definitely bridge wear territory.
Here's a few highlights. Thoughts? Buy it here.
