I'm always a little skeptical when massive snowstorms are on the weather forecast- after all, last winter the worst thing that happened to Washington was a little dusting of snow and some black ice in the parking lot- but lo and behold, it started snowing around 8:30pm on Friday night, and when I woke up on Saturday morning and looked out the window, this was what greeted me.
And yes, it was STILL snowing at that point, and didn't let up till the wee hours of Sunday morning. When I finally gathered the courage to venture outside to the gym and to Giant, the going was a little tougher than I'd imagined! I should have brought my sled to get down the front steps!
That's funny, last time I checked I thought I had feet!
Trudging down the block...
Christmas card-worthy!
"Gee, I'm sure glad that's not my car!" I thought to myself as I snapped this pic yesterday. Well, turns out that when I went to get in my car out this morning it had not fared much better. Thank goodness for some VERY generous neighbors who spent an hour helping me dig out!
Hope you are enjoying the snow, but that it's not getting in the way of your pre-Christmas plans too much! Stay warm!
