Given the winter weather that has hit the east coast, we thought a post about snow boots would be appropriate. I have to provide a disclaimer- I live in NC and have never spent alot of time in snowy weather. So some of you cold weather veterans might laugh at these suggestions. But these are what I would choose if I was traipsing around in the snow!
These LL Bean duck boots are a classic. I have had the shorter version for years. They keep your footsies dry and warm!
Hunter Wellies are a classic. We love them for rainy days all year long. If you are going to wear them in the winter, we highly recommend some cute boot liners, because the uninsulated rubber isn't very warm on its own! I got the deal of a lifetime last year on Hunter Wellies at Rugged Wearhouse. They had just received a shipment of them from JCrew (I guess JCrew carried Hunter for a while), and they were all marked $14.99. So everyone on my Christmas list last year got a pair!
If high style is important to you, then how about these croc-embossed Hunters for Jimmy Choo? We love that they are lined in cheetah fabric. Fancy Pants!
We generally say "Augh" when we see Uggs, but it looks like these shoes are not going anywhere. And we have to admit, they look really comfortable.
We love the fur accent on these cheerful yellow Lands End boots.
These Sorel boots would make perfect apres ski boots after a long day on the slopes!
Ok, so we know these are basically gussied-up Bean Boots, but we love Tory Burch's spin on the duck boot! Especially the patent leater.
