While we're on the subject of "What were they thinking?"

I pass by a Roche Bobois almost daily and am feeling positively confounded by the Missoni Home for Roche Bobois collection that's now featured in the window. While I love the colors and prints, who exactly is supposed to buy into furniture where you're sitting exactly 8 inches off the ground? In a texture that looks essentially like a super-wide wale corduroy?

To me this simply looks like the most sophisticated dorm furniture ever created. You know, the equivalent of a beanbag chair for chic young things like Margherita Missoni.
