Summer Lovin'

The slow warm up to summer has begun! Hoorah! The days are getting longer and the temperature has started to, although at a painfull rate, increase. Of course it's now only 12 weeks till Christmas (insert gasp) so it goes without saying holidays are just around the corner. It also goes without saying that you're going to need a cute bikini to get you through the hot days. I'm a huge fan of ViX by Paula Hermanny swimsuits. Recently named 'Hollywoods most flattering swimsuit' it's no wonder they're loved by Kim Kardashian, Jennifer Anniston, Victoria Beckham and Jessica Biel. They come is super bright shades and are flattering on the curviest of figures. They also do a cute range of beach dresses and kaftans so if you're considering a beach getaway for the holidays or honeymoon then these could be the cossies for you. In Australia they are available online at Trixian Body, Intimate Couture and Love Fashion or call 02 9439 9825 for more info.

Feather Weather

It's a fair call saying it's freezing here in Australia. Winter has well and truly settled in and if you're having a winter wedding and still have your heart set on a strapless or more revealing gown consider this gorgeous Miu Miu feather collar. There's nothing worse than being cold so it's important to still keep yourself a little rugged up. Why not do it in absolute style?! Available to purchase at www.net-a-porter.com.

Make a Statement

Statement necklaces are huge for Fall! We have always loved what they add to a look- a touch of glamour and style, even with an otherwise plain outfit. The price range of statement necklaces is huge- you can spend anywhere from $10 to well over $1000 for them, and the color options are endless! For fall, we are loving neutral tones, deep blues, and of course, blacks and metallics.

Some Neutral Favorites:

Cheap and Chic Neutral:

Not So Basic Black:

Glamorous Gold:

J.Crew Antique Gold Manor Necklace, $125

Kate Spade Triple Row Necklace, $325

ABS Strands of Gold Necklace, $250

Nicole Romano Draped Necklace, $325

Banana Republic Brooch Cluster Necklace, $98

Cheap and Chic Gold:

Forever21 Drape Looped Necklace, $7

A little color....

Fiona Paxton Shine Necklace, $298

Our favorite of the bunch:

Stephen Dweck Agate Slice Necklace, $1795

We would love to see the F21 necklaces in person to see if they are really as cute as they appear online. But you certainly can't beat the price! We think you can really get alot of mileage out of these statement necklaces, pairing with cocktail dresses or even with jeans, a cashmere sweater, and a shrunken blazer. Will you be wearing a statement necklace or two this Fall?

Kiss Me Kate

Kate Spade's new fashion line for Fall is one of the cutest things we have ever seen!!! We love her ladylike designs, the nod to 60's style, and her fab use of color! This whole colorful collection is just the pick-me-up we need in this dreary economy.

Kate's black and white zebra trench over a red sheath with a yellow bag- how fun is this outfit?! We love it with patterned tights and flats.

And a coordinating yellow, black, and red room: Kenneth Brown

This nubby pink swing jacket is adorable when paired with a black and white polka dotted skirt! And chartreuse tights for an added splash of color. There is nothing understated about this look!

And a fabulous chartreus, hot pink, and yellow room:

Amanda Nisbet

We have always loved the combo of red, black, and white. We love how feminine this outfit is with the vintage-inspired necktie blouse, belted cardigan, and tweed skirt. This outfit is precisely why we love Fall, and we would definitely wear it (with a longer skirt) to work!

And a red, black, and white bedroom!
Stephen Shubel

Wearing all black is so chic. Especially with the pop of red from these fab leather gloves! We aren't sure how practical a short-sleeve coat really is, but it sure looks cute!

Black and red is a great room pairing too!
Bruno Frisoni's office, Domino

This black and white polka dotted dress with ruffled detailing is absolutely adorable! Especially when paired with dramatic green tights! Remember to keep your shoes either flat or "covered up" (read: nothing strappy) when wearing a short dress like this one.

And a Kelly Wearstler-designed green and black bathroom.

Kelly Wearstler

The classic black Audrey cocktail dress, updated with a fun twist of fuchsia tights!

Fab twin bedroom with Target headboards!

Domino

This outfit seems so "Twiggy" to us. Or maybe Mary Tyler Moore. Whatever the inspiration, it is perfectly adorable for Fall!

A lively red, black, and white room from Jonathan Adler.

Jonathan Adler

We are loving the yellow and black combo more and more! Kate Spade's Gail sheath dress is so cute, especially with the embellished collar and pockets!

A dramatic bedroom

Room Service

We'd love to brighten up our work wardrobe with this polka dotted blouse!

And to match those chartreuse tights, how about this vintage-inspired living room?

Elle Decor

This faux fur chubbie is so much fun (and animal friendly)! We'd wear it for all our dressy occasions this Fall!

Black and brown works in this library too! And we are nuts for that rug!

Jonathan Adler

Black and white and yellow again!

Country Living isn't so country anymore!
Country Living

Love the stylish comfort of this look for running around town on pretty Fall weekends! The striped socks remind us of those awful Adidas Flops we used to wear with our stylish Umbros, but otherwise, we love this outfit!

And some dramatic pink and black from Mr. Redd:

Miles Redd

This black trench is the perfect go-to coat for Fall!

More dramatic black walls!

Which is your favorite Kate Spade look? Would you tone down these outfits or wear them as-is?
