Oh So Coco

There's something about a truly gorgeous wedding video that really stirs your emotions. On Wed 9 June model Coco Rocha wed Interior Designer James Conran in a beautiful wedding held at Chateau Challain in the Loire Valley, France. Not only was the location completely breathtaking but her dress, by designer Zac Posen was jaw dropping. That is my dream dress right there! Coco was lovely enough to share two versions of her wedding video, by American Cinema, on her blog Oh So Coco. Real Wedding - Deb James & Michael Matarazzo

On South Australia's Fleurieu Peninsula, Deb & Michael married on 29th January 2011 at the picturesque Waverley Estate in the beachside town of Port Elliot. In front of 125 guests they exchanged their vows on a warm, sunny afternoon. There's no denying that the fabulous photography by the very talented Pete Thornton from Event Imaging has perfectly captured the relaxed, happy and love-filled day. The gorgeous bride, in a magical cotton and silk blend Akira gown, was the definition of a glowing, thanks in-part to the makeup artist from Ocea Beauty Bar. There's no denying the love between Deb & Michael shines through in these photographs. We loved the colourful and casual flowers, the brides dress and the polaroid photo's taken by guests for the Bride & Groom as keepsakes. Fly Me to the Moon

Cathrin D'Entremont of Cathrin D'Entremont Weddings has very kindly shared with us a styling shoot she did recently with a number of fabulous Western Austrlian suppliers. Fly Me to the Moon was inspired by the old charm of country stables. The palette that were used included cornflower blue with accents of antique gold and soft pinks and purples with natural accents in cream and dark wood. Cathrin and her team too shot on location in the stables at the gorgeous Stewarts Brookleigh in Uppper Swan WA. We're loving the hydrangea detail on the backs of the gorgeous antique wood chairs! Renovators Delight

Daylesford Dreaming

I know this ad featuring the gorgeous Isabel Lucas is a bit old now but I love it. It really makes me want to go to Daylesford! Daylesford would be a fantastic place to honeymoon in with all of the beautiful spas there to really get you relaxed after the stresses that go into planning a wedding. It also has an amazing wine and foodie scene with lots of good restaurants to dine at like the multi award winning The Lakehouse.



The ad also show The Convent which is a beautiful place to have a wedding. The Convent has everything in the one location. Ceremony options include the original chapel, beautiful manicured gardens or glass conservatory. There are two function rooms to choose from with the altar bar available to guests who want to party on after the wedding.



Another part of the ad I like is the mix of lamps that line the road - it looks so pretty. You could easily replicate this on a smaller scale lining stairs leading to your venue with perhaps using candles instead of light bulbs (no need for lots of extension cords). Mis-matched lamps would also make for quirky centrepieces.

A Lavish Affair at The Baths

I visited the lovely Marisa and Michelle from A Lavish Affair in Melbourne last week and was lucky enough to get a peek at a gorgeous wedding hosted at The Baths Middle Brighton. Styled by Marisa and her team, the wedding of Kristen & James was an understated but uber-chic affair with the most gorgeous views overlooking the gorgeous Middle Brighton Baths, on The Esplanade, in Brighton, Victoria. Their 80 guests were seated at one long table so Kristen & James were able to get the most out of the space. The table was then decorated with eight tall vases filled with white tulips as well as an array of smaller vases of Rannuculus and Lisianthus roses. Crystal candlesticks were also a feature on top of the gorgeous mirror runner, which gave the illusion of double the florals and showed off the romantic flicker of the tea light candles. The luxury latte cloth gave the table a fresh, relaxed and sleek feel and looked fabulous with the chairs.
